Tax Planning Specialist – Hantz Group

Hantz Group is a Michigan-based Family Office managing over $11B+ of assets. We work with individuals and businesses to help them achieve their financial goals through a holistic, collaborative approach.

• Analyze tax liability for individual clients
• Prepare tax projections and file tax returns
• Deliver presentations to clients and prospects
• Develop and maintain client base, marketing and selling appropriate tax plans
• Attend meetings and continuing education sessions
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to service clients
• Ensure compliance with all industry rules and regulations
• Represent clients before the IRS and state revenue departments
• Perform any other tasks assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1‑year relevant experience preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals
• Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license preferred
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities, strict deadlines, and multiple clients
• Strong sense of professional and personal accountability
• Highly motivated, self‑starter with leadership qualities and entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience with CCH Axcess Software preferred
