Retail Scan Associate (Mount Pleasant MI 48858)

This permanent part‑time role assigns Retail Scan Associates to visit a selection of local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and aisle locations. The data collected drives sales performance improvements for the products and retailers.

Retail Scan Associates use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout each store. The position estimates 8–13 hours per week for 52 weeks a year, with additional custom project tasks that add 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store. Timely completion of weekly scanning and custom project data is critical.

• Scan display barcodes in the entire store every week.

• Provide quantity details for about 45 % of scanned products.

• Complete custom project tasks on weeks that require them.

• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver high‑quality data.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stay on your feet for long periods while accessing products.
• Can lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 ft in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Can perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
