This is a full‑time, on‑site Tax Accountant role located in Mount Pleasant, SC. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic public accounting team. The Senior Tax Associate will manage complex tax engagements, supervise junior staff, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and provide technical support on complex tax issues.
• Assist in tax planning and strategy development for clients across various industries.
• Review work papers and ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior associates and interns.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide updates.
• Stay current on tax law changes and proactively identify opportunities for clients.
• Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated client service delivery.

• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• Tax compliance and tax preparation skills.
• Experience in tax and financial statements.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• CPA license or working toward certification is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
