Construction Superintendent

We have an immediate need for an experienced superintendent for several recently awarded commercial projects in the Charleston, SC area. We have developed a solid reputation in this market as a preferred design-build contractor and we want to add another high performing superintendent to our team. We value hard work, integrity, professionalism and family time outside of work. Starting pay is very competitive and will be based on experience.

• At least three (3) years of commercial construction and superintendent experience. Residential construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Superintendent experience in the Charleston area is a plus.
• Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Knowledge of construction best practices
• Attention to details and the technical requirements of commercial projects.
• Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices.
• In-depth understanding of local, state and federal construction regulations
• Great problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal-setting and conflict management
• Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking

Job Type: Full-time
