Phlebotomist – Synectics Inc.

Phlebotomist (Patient Services Representative I) will represent the face of the company to patients, draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, maintain trust and confidence, and demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy.

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Establish an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.
• Perform collection and processing duties for forensic and clinical specimens following established practices.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Work under the direction of the area supervisor, meeting daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment.
• Provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum 6 months experience, one year preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Within a 20‑25 minute commute window to ensure transportation to the site.
• Shift: Day shift/Eastern;
  Mon‑Thurs 7:45 a‑m‑p‑m.

401(k) Plan: Employees 21+ can invest on the first enrollment date that is at least 30 days after employment begins (January, April, July, October).

Technical Certification Bonus: Up to $500 for a professional certification related to the position, awarded 90 days after documentation of successful completion. Only one per calendar year for active employees.
