- Weekend Days Position Summary The CT Tech. performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic services offered by the Computerized Tomography Department of Imaging Services. Performs other duties as assigned to ensure a smooth operation of the department. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. Must be certified by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association as a Radiographer. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology as a CT Technologist, preferred Must have reached a level of expertise in Computerized Tomography scanning through formal and informal training to independently perform CT procedures and instruct other technologists in the performance of CT procedures.

Demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of diagnostic Radiology is procedures required. Worker trait requirements include organization, decision-making and effective communication skills. Emergency work-load situations require the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
