We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will serve as the administrative leader of large, complex projects or multiple project teams. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution such as planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and quality control—with the support of the project staff. This position plays a key part in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and design partners, actively contributing to client satisfaction and the pursuit of repeat business to ensure long-term partnerships.

- Act as the administrative leader of large, complex projects or multiple project teams.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and quality control—with support from project staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and design partners.
- Contribute to client satisfaction and the pursuit of repeat business to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Superintendent and Company Safety Manager to develop, implement, maintain, and enforce a comprehensive Project Specific Safety Plan.
- Process Owner/Contract terms: participate in negotiation of Owner/Contractor contract terms alongside the Division Manager (DM)/Business Development where applicable.
- Ensure project teams comply with critical Owner contract terms and conditions, including contract price/GMP and contract time parameters, to protect Choate’s interests and manage risk.
- Identify and communicate new work opportunities to the DM and Business Development team; actively support business development efforts.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager.
- Ability to proactively identify new work opportunities and communicate leads to the Division Manager and Business Development team.
- Demonstrates a collaborative, team-oriented mindset and is approachable across all members of the project team.
- Experience in negotiating Owner/Contractor contract terms.
- OSHA 30 certification.
