Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 1st Shift Sit Down Forklift in Mount Pleasant
.

These operators will be assigned to work at the port (400 Long Point Rd, Mt. Pleasant).

A Sit-Down Forklift Operator moves materials, loads/unloads trucks, and manages inventory in warehouses using a sit-down forklift, focusing on safety, efficiency, and accurate record-keeping, including performing pre-shift equipment checks, adhering to OSHA rules, and potentially using RF scanners for tracking goods.

• Material Handling:
  Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets within the facility, loading/unloading trailers and trucks.
• Inventory Management:
  Stack items in correct storage bays, rotate stock (oldest first), and potentially use RF scanners for tracking.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Conduct daily safety inspections, ensure loads are secure, and follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Documentation:
  Complete forms, maintain accurate production records, and document movement of goods.
• General Warehouse Support:
  Assist with manual loading/unloading, build pallets, shrink wrap goods, and maintain a clean work area.
