The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in women patients for our client facilities. Mammography Technologist may perform screening exams or diagnostic exams.

• As required by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the ACR (American College of Radiology), performs diagnostic mammography procedures on patients, in a timely manner.
• Timely reports information to the Radiologist.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and prepares necessary reports and maintains all required records.
• Reports to and depart from work on time and as scheduled.
• Always ensures the safety of patients.
• Adheres to and follows all patient experience initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to deal with stress while maintaining composure.
• Follows and adheres to TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

• One year of experience as a qualified Mammographer preferred.
• Two years' training in General Radiology preferred.

• Current Texas License Registered ARRT Mammography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire date.
