Position Summary:

The Radiology Technologist assists the radiologist with imaging procedures and provides timely reports. The role emphasizes patient safety, equipment maintenance, and adherence to patient experience initiatives.

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures on patients promptly.
• Reports findings to the Radiologist in a timely manner.
• Leads cleaning, maintenance, and record management of imaging equipment.
• Ensures patient safety throughout all procedures.
• Adheres to patient experience initiatives and TRMC vaccine policy.
• Performs on‑call duties as required.
• Reports to and departs from work according to schedule.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Handles stressful situations while maintaining composure.

• One year of experience as a registered technologist preferred.

• Current MRT license with the Texas Medical Board required.
• ARRT registry eligibility upon hire and required within one year.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Work requires lifting up to 10 lbs often, frequently moving equipment, and standing/sitting/ walking for extended periods. The environment is predominantly indoor with occasional exposure to equipment noise and emotions. Safety protocols regarding sharps, chemicals, and medicine must be followed.
