Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of mechanical construction projects from initiation to completion.

  • Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and timelines, reporting any variances or issues.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Conduct site visits to support project execution and ensure quality control and safety compliance.

  • Track procurement and delivery of mechanical materials and equipment.

  • Help resolve technical issues and support the implementation of project plans.

  • Participate in project meetings and assist in developing meeting agendas and minutes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • 3 years of experience in mechanical construction or project management support.

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping, etc.) and construction practices.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with mechanical contractors or MEP firms.

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

  • PMP or CAPM certification (or interest in pursuing).
