• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education to patients
• Knowledge of Account Ledger
• Insurance Breakdown
• Answering phone calls
• Scheduling appointments
• Creating and Presenting treatment plans
• Checkout patients
• Charge patients for services
• Create claims
• Send claims
• Send Pre Authorizations
• Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Adherence to HIPAA protocols
• Other duties associated with Business Assistants & Receptionists at a dental office
• Partner with the providers and team to implement our systems and maximize office workflow

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a dental office / same position
• Saturday availability is essential. While you won’t be scheduled every Saturday, being available is a requirement for the role.
• Start time is as early as 8:20 AM each day.
• End times can vary:
  On weekdays, we close at 6:00 PM, and shifts can go as late as 6:45 PM;
  On Saturdays, we close at 4:00 PM, with the latest shift ending at 4:45 PM.

• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
• Cross Trained / some knowledge of the Clinical side
• Spanish Speaker
