AP/CP Pathology Locums Job in Illinois Seeking Coverage for 6 Weeks in March - June + 1-2 Weeks/Month Ongoing Jackson and Coker's valued partner located in south-central Illinois, is seeking one to two Pathologists to assist with coverage in their hospital based pathology lab. The facility is strictly in need of weekday lab coverage and will not need any evening or weekend call coverage support.

Although the client's need is immediate, they anticipate credentialing taking around 60 days (March start). Coverage need:
Seeking Monday-Friday lab coverage from 8A-5P, night + weekend call coverage Seeking 1-2 weeks of lab coverage each month starting March 2026 & ongoing Coverage is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Dates Needed:
March 16-20 March 23-27 April 13-17 April 20-24 April 27-May 1 June 8-12 Description/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Illinois license is strongly preferred (willing to also consider candidates that have an active LOQ on file with the IMLC) Prefer candidates that can offer 2 weeks (M-F) each month;
Must be able to offer a minimum of 1 week (M-F)/month Will be physically be onsite at 1 lab, however, will also receive specimens from sister facility 10 minutes away Facility staff: will work alongside of 1 employed Pathologist at all times, 1 PA & a full histology lab (lab assistants + histotechs) that perform all processing, cutting, H&E stains + some special stains AP/CP Pathology - some non-GYN cytology Case volume is 6-8K cases a year;
Breaking down to 25 cases/day per Pathologist (splitting 50 cases total/day on average) PA standardly does grossing Frozen's + ROSE procedures come up at times (sometimes scheduled, sometimes unanticipated) Covering two facil
