Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1 year of acute care and BLS certification.

• Position is based primarily in an outpatient physical therapy setting with occasional coverage in acute care and inpatient rehab
• Work schedule consists of 3x10 hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 to 17:30
• On-call rotation occurs every seven weeks for coverage as needed
• Must be able to float to acute care and inpatient rehab as required
• Epic EMR system is used and previous Epic experience is required
• Attire is Caribbean blue or khakis with lab coat
• Holiday coverage is rotated, with expectation to work one holiday per year
• 70 mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted

• Current state PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred
• Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required
