Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Manager, HR Generalist / Talent Management
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join their team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and collaborating with the management team, this position will play a key role in steering human resources strategies in alignment with the company's mission and values. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving HR initiatives across the manufacturing facilities, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and leading a team of exceptional Human Resources professionals.
Role and Responsibilities:- Develop HR strategies that are in sync with the company’s business goals; providing guidance on talent management, employee relations, and compensation structures.
- Offer visionary leadership to the HR team, promoting a culture of excellence and consistent, high-quality HR services.
- Partner with key stakeholders to create and execute comprehensive talent acquisition plans.
- Act as a champion of the employee experience and company culture, embodying the organization’s core values.
- Stay abreast of trends and advances in HR practices, ensuring the company’s policies remain progressive and legally compliant.
- Utilize people analytics to inform and enhance HR practices and policies.
- Lead change management efforts, helping teams navigate and thrive during organizational changes.
- Manage the HR budget effectively, ensuring strategic allocation of resources.
- Serve as a 401(k) fiduciary, overseeing compliance and administration.
- Manage FMLA and leave documentation, ensuring proper tracking and compliance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in manufacturing environments.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of managing high-performing HR teams.
- Professional HR certification (PHR or SPHR) is preferred.
- Experience with union relations and negotiations is an asset.
- Experience managing HR across multiple locations, with a preference for candidates open to office placement in either Paducah, KY, or Mt. Vernon, IL.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required, and experience with Taleo Enterprise and Lawson HRIS systems is advantageous.
