Travel Centers of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor I. For over 50 years, millions of professional truck drivers and motorists have relied on us for fuel, food, truck maintenance, and essential services.
Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians across the country. As a Truck Service Advisor, you will provide first-rate service to customers through your extensive knowledge of our products and services.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service
- Have extensive knowledge of our products and services
- Have strong suggestive selling skills to generate revenue
- Write, detail, and process work orders and over-the-counter transactions
- Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and maintain the cleanliness of service counters
- Ensure the safety of customers and team members
We are looking for a dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to join our team. Requirements include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous cashier and customer service experience
- Presents self in a professional manner
- Strong suggestive selling skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- A valid driver’s license
