Route Delivery Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Route Driver to deliver food service products throughout Southern Illinois and surrounding areas. The driver will pick up a loaded trailer from a distribution facility in Mount Vernon, IL and make scheduled deliveries to customers across an approximately 200-mile service radius
, occasionally extending into the South St. Louis/Metro East area. This is with a family-owned company that supports work-life balance!

This is a home-daily position with no overnight routes
. Drivers typically begin their day around 5:00 AM and return home by approximately 4:00–5:00 PM.

• Pick up a company trailer from the Mount Vernon, IL facility each morning.
• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle throughout the assigned territory.
• Deliver food service products to restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools, nursing homes, and other institutional customers.
• Unload and handle cases of product, including frequent lifting of 60–80 pounds

• Complete deliveries safely, accurately, and professionally.
• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain required delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections as required.

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred
  ; candidates without the endorsement may be eligible for assistance obtaining it.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move 60–80 pounds

• Must be able to pass required DOT physicals and drug testing.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and comply with applicable DOT requirements.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented.

• $25.80–$29.80 per hour
  , based on experience.
• Overtime opportunities available.
• Full-time employment.
• Approximately 5:00 AM start time with typical return home around 4:00–5:00 PM

• No overnight travel.
• Primary service area is Southern Illinois, with an approximately 200-mile radius around Mount Vernon and occasional routes into the South St. Louis/Metro East area.
