Senior IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end users and office technology in New York. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving complex support issues, maintaining reliable workstation performance, and assisting with a wide range of hardware, software, and connectivity needs. The role will support daily operations across desktops, mobile devices, collaboration tools, and core business applications while contributing to broader IT improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee incoming support requests, prioritize open incidents, and drive issues through to completion within expected service levels.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment to ensure dependable day-to-day performance.
• Provide assistance with collaboration platforms, communication tools, and workplace technology used across the organization.
• Diagnose and resolve problems affecting essential business applications and internal technology systems.
• Contribute to device rollouts, workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, and other IT-led implementation projects.
• Maintain accurate records for technology assets, equipment assignments, and support documentation.
• Investigate network and connectivity problems involving local infrastructure, wireless access, and related hardware components.
• Support the installation, replacement, and upgrade of network equipment and assist with cabling or physical connectivity tasks as needed.
• Work with outside technology vendors to coordinate issue resolution, infrastructure support, and hardware-related project activity.
