Senior Full Stack Engineer; Python & Node.js

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend experience with Python (Django) and Node.js, along with solid frontend experience using React and Next.js. They should also have experience working with relational databases and a good understanding of AWS core services. Experience with mobile development (Flutter or React Native) is a strong plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python (Django) and Node.js.
• Build and maintain modern web applications using React and Next.js.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models and database schemas for PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop scalable REST APIs (and GraphQL APIs where needed).
• Implement background processing and asynchronous tasks (e.g., Celery).
• Integrate with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3) and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot development and production issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to mobile application development when needed.

Required Experience & Knowledge

• 5+ years of Full Stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and React (Next.js preferred).
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, and modern web development principles.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Git version control.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flutter, React Native, or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience with Nest.js or Express.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with Celery or other task queues.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations or data-driven features.
