Job Summary

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. This role plays a critical part in supporting our manufacturing operations by identifying and executing sourcing activities to enhance the procurement process and reduce risk across raw materials, finished goods, and MRO supplies. Key responsibilities include maintaining and building relationships with existing or new suppliers, selecting and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and mitigating long‑term supply chain risks.

The role would also be involved in purchasing and sourcing materials, analysis of opportunities for cost optimization, and would work with our production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure optimal delivery times and quality standards are met.

This position requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, along with experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in procurement processes, vendor management, ERP systems, and cost‑benefit analysis is essential. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance, define technical specifications, and develop sourcing strategies that align with company goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Materials Management, or related field of study required
• 5 years of material management/purchasing experience required
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory management principles
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated analytical skills with knowledge of data analysis tools (i.e. Excel) and reporting
• Previous experience in sourcing steel or castings in the metals market preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience in using SAP PLM, MM, and SD preferred
