Emergency Medicine Physician

Mount Vernon, Ohio is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity to provide comprehensive coverage in a community-based hospital setting. The clinician will evaluate and manage a broad range of emergency presentations across all age groups in a 17-bed moderate-acuity department. This role offers flexible start dates and day or night shifts to support ongoing patient care needs.

• Averages approximately 25,000 ED visits annually
• APP coverage model providing 22 NP/PA hours daily

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens clinical coverage during 12-hour day and night shifts
• Evaluate and manage a broad range of emergency presentations across all age groups
• Perform procedures including moderate sedation
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift
