Electrical Construction Project Manager
Location: Puget Sound & North Washington | Hybrid (Office + Project Sites)
Salary Range: $130,000 – $155,000 annually (base salary), depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
We’re hiring an Electrical Construction Project Manager to manage a diverse mix of projects including Public Works, transportation infrastructure, design/build, EV charging, HVAC energy projects, and small works
. This is a hybrid role based in the Puget Sound / North Washington region, with time split between the office and local project sites.
This role also offers the opportunity to contribute beyond project execution by supporting select operational, financial, and leadership functions typically handled by senior management.
What You’ll Do- Manage electrical projects from award through closeout
- Plan and control schedules, budgets, forecasts, and costs
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Support design/build efforts, constructability reviews, and value engineering
- Procure materials and subcontracted work
- Ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance
- Track risks, performance, and project outcomes
- Public Works & municipal projects
- Transportation infrastructure (transit, roadway, airport, port)
- Design/Build electrical projects
- EV charging infrastructure (Level 2 & DC fast)
- HVAC energy & electrification projects
- Small works and fast‑turn projects
- 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or infrastructure electrical projects
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and construction methods
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, or similar tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
- Comfortable anticipating challenges and driving solutions with minimal oversight
- Collaborative, field‑oriented mindset
- Public Works or public agency experience
- Design/Build experience
- EV charging or energy project experience
- PMP certification
- Electrical trade background or license
- Base salary range $130,000–$155,000 annually
