FINANCE MANAGER – $1,000 hiring bonus

Chinook Enterprises is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA. This role offers a $1,000 hiring bonus for candidates who remain employed for at least six months and maintain good standing.

The Finance Manager (0.75‑1.0 FTE) will manage all aspects of the financial systems, partner with the CEO to build financial acumen, oversee financial records, payroll, reporting, forecasting and budgeting, and support managers and staff with data‑based decision making.

Chinook Enterprises, located in Mount Vernon, Washington, was founded in 1980. It is a non‑profit dedicated to supporting full participation in community life for people with disabilities or other barriers, with employment as a core pathway.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (highly preferred).
• Minimum five years of finance/full‑charge cost accounting experience or related experience.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Experience working with non‑profit financial systems and compliance is a plus.

• Maintain and oversee all financial records, accounts, and payroll.
• Prepare forward‑looking financial work including forecasting and budgeting.
• Provide support to managers and staff for data‑based decisions.
• Coordinate financial correspondence, reporting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with the CEO to shape financial strategy and organisational objectives.
