Pay range: $19.10 – $22.00 per hour. Salary offers are based on qualifications, experience, education, and certifications. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

This position requires a state phlebotomy license (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV).

Responsibilities:

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Research test/client information and verify written and electronic orders using lab technology systems.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data – a requirement for success.
• Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
• Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required.
• Perform non‑patient‑facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data as needed.
• Maintain all phlebotomy logs (e.g., maintenance logs, temperature logs) timely and according to frequency.
• Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• State phlebotomy license;
  Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV.
