for the
Postcard Cabins
in Mount Vernon, WA
The Lodge keeper’s responsibilities include washing and folding laundry. Answering guest messages, delivering items to cabins when requested. Occasionally, checking guests into cabins. Troubleshooting problems with guests.
To be successful as a Lodge keeper, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Lodge keeper Responsibilities:- Sorting, washing, and drying textile items.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Prepare for the following day’s shift by packing linen bags,
- Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
- Anticipating and responding to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.
- High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
- Available to work shifts from 6 PM to 11 PM.
- Being passionate about people and service.
- Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees.
- Reading abilities are often used when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- $18 an hour starting.
- Holiday pay includes New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
- Sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
