• Provide resources and tools that support associates delivering the best service to customers.
• Assist with down‑stoking, area recovery, and merchandising decisions.
• Monitor use of store power equipment, coaching employees on safe behaviors and lifting techniques.
• Coach and train associates, delegate daily tasks, manage performance, and ensure adequate department coverage.
• Handle customer‑facing activities such as greeting customers, clarifying needs, identifying solutions and closing sales.
• Execute non‑customer‑facing tasks including down‑stoking, inventory management, area recovery, safety walks, hazard reporting.
• Supervise associates in other departments as needed, occasionally open/close the store or act as manager‑on‑duty (MOD).
• Travel occasionally for meetings, training or to support neighboring stores/outlets.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience, or 5 years of retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross‑functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales‑related licensure or registration as required by law.

• 3 years of retail customer service experience.
• 3 years supporting the unique needs of Pro customers.
• Leadership experience with direct report responsibility.
• Experience in the home improvement retail sector.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Experience in a key carrying role with manager‑on‑duty responsibilities.
• Experience using store computer systems (e.g., Project Tool, Genesis, Sterling, M2O, Thin Client).

Pay Range: $26.50 – $27.55 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training and/or experience.
