CDL Driver

Transport product from Smith Gardens facilities to customer, maintaining quality product,timely delivery, accurate paperwork and safe driving. Transports materials inter-company asneeded. May drive solo or as part of a team.

• Maintain vehicle, timely reporting of maintenance issues.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicles.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, inventories, discrepancies, hours, and miles. Communicate with facilities any issues.
• Pick up racks, misc. products/supplies and transport as requested.
• Follow DOT regulations, complete paperwork accurately.
• Represent Smith Gardens with a cooperative, positive and professional attitude.

• Ability to drive in rain and snow.
• Ability to handle vehicle in congested areas.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Ability to use electronic logs.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

• Previous experience working with Class A or B license a plus.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Current Class A CDL
• Must pass a road test, drug screen, employer check, and a motor vehicle report.
• Must be able to drive inter-state.

• Work weekends and longer hours during peak seasons.
• Work as part of a driving team.
• Unload truck at customer sites.
• Able to push/pull rolling racks.
• Break down and load racks at customer sites.
• Secure loads with load bars and/or straps.
• Safely operate a lift gate.

$25.50 - $27.50/hr.

Premium Seasonal Pay:
April 7 - May 29 at $30.36/hr
