Job DescriptionThis is for the school year.
This is a full-time position with benefits.
Total Contract Days:187 days (10-month employee status)
- 170 Instructional Days
- 7 Bullitt Days
- 4 Professional Learning Days
- 2 Teacher Opening and Closing Days
- 4 Paid Holidays
Leave Allocation
- 10 Sick Days
- 3 Personal Days
- 3 Emergency Days
The SDGT will be assigned toOld Mill and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school.
* Travel requirement: If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day. Travel reimbursement for mileage.
SDGT Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree
** Salaryis a"DAILY RATE"based on the board-approved salary schedule for the school year!
Benefits:
- $20,000 life insurance policy - paid for by the State of Kentucky
- $30,000 life insurance policy - paid for by Bullitt County Public Schools
- Health Insurance (employee monthly premium based on plan selected)
- or Waiver HRA or Waiver HRA limited purpose
- Sick Leave and Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date)
- Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave
- Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
