Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school in RCT that provides a supportive working environment for its teaching staff. The school has a collaborative staff team who work together to support pupils and effectively manage challenging behaviour.
The school is looking to take on a Food Technology Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Food Technology Teacher will be confident delivering practical lessons, demonstrating cooking and food preparation techniques, and maintaining strong classroom management and appropriate health and safety standards.
The successful Food Technology Teacher will have:- QTS with a relevant Food Technology specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school environment
- Strong practical cooking and food preparation skills
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- A good understanding of health and safety within a practical teaching environment
- A resilient, adaptable and supportive approach
