Merchandiser - MERCH

Overview

We are seeking a Driver Helper to join our team at Glazer's Beer & Beverage. The role involves merchandising activities and constructing displays of company products in retail accounts as requested by Sales Representatives or retail customers. It includes installing promotional merchandising displays, providing special product deliveries on an emergency basis, and working in a safety-sensitive position.

• Performs merchandising and display activities in retail accounts as requested.
• Ensures maximum space allocation for merchandisable displays.
• Participates in the development of retail accounts through display initiatives.
• Delivers product merchandise when required.
• Performs merchandising warehouse duties as assigned.
• Advises the Sales Merchandising Manager and assigned Sales Representative of service problems.
• Understands and follows safety rules and requirements; reports any safety-related incident, injury, or illness to the appropriate supervisor.
• Travel 60% to 80% by daily driving, may involve distances up to 100 miles.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year in merchandising or as warehouse staff.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical demands with activity that includes walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Ability to frequently lift or move 40 to 50 pound cartons and stand for extended periods.

• Able to perform job-related tasks without hindering the safety of self or others.
