Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) to support surgical services in an acute care operating room setting. This role involves scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures while also assisting in Pre-Op and PACU as needed. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment with on-call responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures in the Operating Room
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping
- Support Pre-Op and PACU workflows as assigned
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Anticipate surgeon needs and respond promptly during procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
