Shifts:

3x12 hour day shifts per week (rotating), 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; early leave possible if cases are completed, must be available for call-back

• On-Call:call shifts in an 8-week period, including 12-hour weeknights and 24-hour weekend shifts (30-minute response time required)

• Guaranteed

Hours:

36 hours per week

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $$2250

• Team Environment:
Small, collaborative team with 4 RNs per shift (Preop, OR, PACU, Float)

• Charting System:
Epic EMR

• Orientation: 2 days in OR, plus additional Preop/PACU training as needed
Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Idaho or compact state)

• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• Preop and PACU experience preferred

• Ability to float to Preop, PACU, and other departments as needed

• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care for surgical patients in the Operating Room, Preop, and PACU settings

• Assist with surgical cases including cholecystectomies, appendectomies, hernia repairs, abdominal hysterectomies, hysteroscopies, D&C, colonoscopies, endoscopies, and C-sections

• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Participate in on-call shifts and respond within 30 minutes as required

• Float to other departments and provide clinical support when surgeries are not scheduled

• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
