We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to join our growing team. This position will oversee the accounting and financial operations of a fast-paced, multi-brand automotive dealership. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, hands-on leader with extensive automotive dealership accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Oversee daily accounting operations for a multi-brand automotive dealership.

Manage and supervise the accounting office, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activity.

Monitor dealership financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and manufacturer requirements.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations, internal controls, and company procedures.

Work closely with dealership management to support financial planning and operational decisions.

Train, develop, and support accounting staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.

Minimum of 5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience, including office management or supervisory responsibilities.

Strong understanding of dealership accounting procedures, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds Dealer Management System (DMS).

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience overseeing accounting operations for multiple automotive brands or dealerships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.

Experience implementing efficient accounting processes and utilizing paperless systems.
