• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.
• Experience designing and prototyping within Figma.
• Experience designing, building, or launching consumer‑facing products.
• Portfolio or relevant work links included in the resume.

• Master's degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a complex, cross‑functional organization.
• At least 2 years of experience leading design projects.
• Experience with 0‑1 product development.
• Ability to design across multiple platforms and modalities.

Throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building interface mockups and prototypes—you’ll envision the user experience and bring that vision to life. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team with UX designers, researchers, writers, content strategists, program managers, and engineers. In this role, you’ll craft industry‑leading experiences from concept to execution, leveraging the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

XI Labs is a Workspace team building disruptive, 10× AI products at startup speed. Leveraging Google’s scale, you’ll take high‑risk bets to redefine the future of work. Your tools will improve productivity across Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, and Meet, using AI features such as email and meeting summaries and lifelike AI avatars. You will collaborate with model builders from Google Deep Mind and have the opportunity to impact billions of users worldwide.

• Lead projects focused on new product ideas and opportunities within Workspace.
• Own the end‑to‑end experience, from ideation to final specs.
• Collaborate with other Workspace teams to integrate frontier experiences into their products.
• Influence executive leaders and cross‑functional partners to ship impactful and innovative products.
• Lead initiatives to align large groups of people around a common problem.
