As an Avionics Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization. This is a growing team of highly motivated people passionate about delivering quality products and services on time, with unquestionable value. You’ll play a critical role in building, operating, integrating, testing, and inspecting highly reliable avionics systems, such as wiring harnesses and electromechanical hardware. Your work will support various product development phases such as prototype, research and development, aircraft certification, and recurring production.
This is a fantastic opportunity to serve as the last line of defense for ensuring that our safety-critical systems are reliable and produced to the intended engineering requirements.
- Build, operate, integrate, test, and inspect highly reliable systems, including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, avionics assemblies, and circuit card assemblies
- Read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as drawings, layouts, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists
- Develop and improve manufacturing and installation instructions
- Assure product and process quality by testing finished product and process capabilities
- Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions
- Record work performed in a clear, precise, and complete manner
- Assist with the development of production and improvement processes
- 2+ years of professional experience building/fabricating wire harnesses
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation
- Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools
- Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3‑4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation
- IPC and/or J‑STD certification
- Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing company or a precision manufacturing company
- Soldering experience

The position will be located at our facility in Mountain View, California. Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000/annual salary + cash and stock option awards + benefits. At Reliable Robotics, we strive to provide competitive and rewarding compensation based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.
