ASIC Development Engineer

Position:
Senior ASIC Design Engineer – Optical Communication Systems

Our client’s team is expanding and seeking highly motivated, experienced professional engineers to help develop next-generation systems in a rapidly growing and competitive industry. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or possess equivalent professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop state-of-the-art electronic devices and intellectual property (IP) for optical communication systems.
• Apply proven expertise in deep sub-micron silicon technologies.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-site, international development team.
• Design ASIC devices for the processing of optical signals.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in deep sub-micron ASIC design.
• Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog for development and ASIC verification.
• Preferred experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and forward error correction (FEC) design.
• Experience with high-speed analog design is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and time zones.
• Effective communication skills, including fluency in English.
