EVT​/DVT Engineering Program Manager

Position Description

• The Wearables and Health team is seeking an EVT/DVT Engineering Program Manager Contractor to help drive hardware module engineering development.
• You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and suppliers to get high-quality products built, tested, and released on time.
• You will use the engineering knowledge and program managing skills to effectively drive project convergences and maintain clear communication with the teams on schedules, critical updates, and program risks.
• You are responsible for managing program schedules, risk mitigation plan executions, and cross‑functional alignments.

• Oversee the Join Developing Model (JDM) validation with manufacturing engineers, Part Quality Control plan with Quality Engineers, and complete all approval progress during each build stage, such as Proto/EVT/DVT/PVT/Ramp, etc.
• Technical program management on hardware module design and development. Work with multi-discipline engineering and operations teams to drive the project execution.
• Coordinate cross‑functional team tasks. Track and help resolve development risks and issues to meet system build milestones, cost, and manufacturability.
• Interface between vendors and cross‑functional engineering and operations teams driving builds and managing hardware module schedules, budgets, and performance.
• Host regular supplier meetings to address technical and planning openings. Evening calls are expected to communicate with Asian suppliers.
• Follow review and process requirements to plan project reviews and reports. Effectively communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Communicate and document changes in the change log.

• Degree and field- 3 to 7 years’ experience working in Consumer Electronics in an engineering or program management capacity.
• Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for the role experience working through a product development framework, i.e. EVT1, EVT2 DVT, PVT.
• Communicating program status at both an individual and leadership level.
