Job Description
A client at the Silicon Valley Campus is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer 5 to support the team that develops in house silicon. This role will contribute to power validation engineering. Candidates with prior MSFT experience are preferred. This role is fully on site and will last for 18 months. A Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline is required for this role.
The interview process will last 1-2 rounds.
The main function of a hardware engineer is to research, design, develop and test computer/ computer-related equipment for commercial, military or scientific use. Job responsibilities include analyzing information to determine plan layouts, including the type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications. They will assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment, build and modify product prototypes and use working models constructed with computer simulation.
They will evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints and the need for security restrictions to determine hardware configurations.

Skills and Requirements Must Haves:- 10+ Years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years experience with Silicon Power Measurements
- 5+ years experience with oscilloscope handling
- Strong coding ability in Python/C
- Previous Microsoft Experience
