Electrical Design Engineer Join a cutting-edge team in Mountain View, CA, as an Electrical Design Engineer and be at the forefront of high-performance electrical systems development. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and optimize complex electrical circuits spanning power, control, mixed-signal, and high-speed interconnect domains, contributing directly to bringing innovative hardware solutions from concept to production. Your hands-on expertise will be vital in circuit prototyping, board bring-up, signal integrity, and cross-functional hardware integration, ensuring the delivery of reliable, industry-leading products.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in schematic capture and design using Altium or equivalent EDA software
Hands-on experience with lab experiments, hardware debugging, board bring-up, and signal testing
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems like Arena Strong knowledge of circuit design for high-performance applications
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience designing high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, or Ser Des Background in electrical systems for networking, photonics, or high-performance hardware sectors
Deep understanding of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and Design for Excellence (DfX)
Ability to utilize Python or other scripting languages for automation and test integration
Knowledge of standard manufacturing, assembly, and test methodologies
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Proven track record of designing and debugging complex electrical hardware for high-speed, high-performance systems
Other Requirements:
This is an onsite position based in Mountain View, CA Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manufacturing partners
Immediate start preferred, with a contract-to-hire potential
