Tax Manager

As a Tax Manager, you will be the leader and corporate advisor of global tax matters, overseeing the organization’s worldwide tax strategy. Your main responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough tax analysis to provide expert advice on tax planning and risk mitigation to ensure compliance with global tax regulations, including but not limited to transfer pricing arrangements.
• Managing and coordinating with external tax firms to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of global tax filings.
• Coordinating and managing tax audits, inquiries, and notices from global tax authorities.
• Creating, managing, and maintaining audit‑ready documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions, and other tax‑related activities.
• Documenting and maintaining effective tax internal control processes.
• Collaborating with other departments and teams, such as Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters.
• Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
• Proactively staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations in the United States, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, France, and India to identify potential risks or opportunities.
• Fostering a culture of tax compliance and awareness throughout the organization, providing training and support as needed.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate international tax experience from a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a corporate tax department of a multinational company.
• Strong analytical, communication, and management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a self‑driven environment.
• Workday and Avalara experience preferred.

Working out of the Mountain View office with required days of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
