The Role

Nuro is seeking a world‑class Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial strategy and capital agenda. This executive will serve as a key architect of Nuro’s growth — raising capital, structuring strategic transactions, and deploying resources to maximize long‑term enterprise value. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will work closely with the Co‑CEOs, COO, and Board of Directors to shape company strategy, drive financial discipline, and position Nuro for future public‑market readiness.

The ideal candidate combines strategic capital markets expertise with operational excellence and a strong understanding of technology‑driven businesses.

About The Work

• Lead capital strategy, including fundraising across private and debt markets, strategic investments, and M&A

• Build and manage investor relationships to strengthen Nuro’s access to capital and long‑term partnerships

• Drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance management to ensure disciplined growth and clear resource allocation

• Oversee corporate finance, accounting, treasury, and risk management, ensuring compliance and operational rigor

• Partner with the executive team to evaluate and execute strategic deals, partnerships, and transactions

• Shape and communicate Nuro’s financial narrative and KPIs to investors, the Board, and employees

• Develop and scale a high‑performing Finance organization that integrates financial and business strategy across the company

About You

• Proven track record of raising capital and executing strategic transactions across public and private markets

• Deep experience cultivating investor relationships and engaging with boards and financial institutions

• Demonstrated success leading large, complex finance organizations as a CFO

• Low‑ego, empathetic, and growth‑minded leader who inspires through collaboration and clarity

• Aligns financial strategy, culture, and execution to advance Nuro’s mission and long‑term vision

• Strategic, analytical, and decisive, with strong business judgment and comfort operating in dynamic, high‑growth environments

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credential

Preferred Compensation

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $275,000 and $350,000 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.

This position is also eligible for a compelling annual performance bonus, highly competitive equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
