• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments and divestitures (valuation analysis, financial analysis, agreement structuring, due diligence) in a public accounting, private equity/venture capital, or multi-national company environment.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

In evaluating inorganic growth opportunities, the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) Finance team plays a pivotal role in shaping Google's future by leading financial models, valuation analyses, and insights for making sound business decisions. Working in close partnership with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, Accounting and Tax teams to provide financial experience to help decision‑makers assess the strengths and risks involved in a given investment or acquisition opportunity.

The M&A Finance team for Other Bets is a critical function within Alphabet's finance organization, responsible for the financial oversight and execution of transactions across a portfolio of high‑growth companies.

In this role, you will not only have a strong finance, valuation and accounting background, but you will also harness this knowledge to navigate financial issues to find creative solutions for our Other Bets portfolio. You will serve as the primary finance partner for corporate finance activities, including managing valuations, leading financial work streams for multi‑billion dollar divestitures, fund raises, and M&A investments while ensuring financial integrity and compliance illustratively.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within Hers range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional Topics, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
