Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a valid CA license and 2+ years of experience for a variable shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an outpatient surgery center setting focused on mammography
- Five 8-hour shifts per week, Tuesday through Saturday or Monday through Friday, with variable shift times between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM
- Potential for some weekend shifts with every other weekend coverage required
- Assignment length is approximately 13 weeks
- Uses Epic EMR, with prior Epic experience preferred
- Must be willing to complete required online training modules during orientation
- Return staff must be gone at least one year to be eligible
- Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at a local pay rate with a 50-mile radius rule
- Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified
- Valid CA state license required if applicable
- CRT, ARRT, RHM, and BLS certifications required, with BLS from AHA or American Red Cross
- Minimum of 2 years recent mammography technologist experience
- Ability to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- Must be able to provide two professional references obtained within the last year
