Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2-3 years of OB sonography experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification to perform high-risk pregnancy imaging.

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Minimum of 2-3 years of OB ultrasound experience (2 years acceptable with relevant OB background)
• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required, ARDMS FE certification preferred
• CA license required if applicable
• Prior travel assignment experience required

• Outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine setting focused on high-risk pregnancies from 1st to 3rd trimester
• Performs NT scans, 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles, detailed level II scans, twin/triplet scans, umbilical artery doppler, middle cerebral artery doppler, and transvaginal scans
• Patient ratio of 1:9
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM with variable days
• Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures to support diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of high-risk pregnancies
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only one holiday may be requested off per contract, with holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Candidates may only apply to one facility within the health system at a time
