The Food and Beverage Manger will oversee day to day Beverage & Snack Operations to include Kitchenettes, Coffee and Juice bar locations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Beverage Manager will manage a team of 20-25 employees on a daily basis.

Functions/Duties:

• All Coffee Bar, Juice Bar, & Kitchenette Operations
• Menu, and product management
• Invoice, PAR sheets, and Financial accountability
• HR duties for Beverage team. while maintaining a strong relationship with the union
• Emphasis in wellness and zero waste management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff.
• Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft. Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Serv Safe Certification.

Necessary Knowledge and

Skills:

• Knowledgeable of Inventory, ordering, and invoice processing.
• Knowledge of Budgetary and accounting.
• Supervisor, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong Multitasking and communication skills.
• HR experience (managing HR expectations)

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing & walking a minimum of 50% of the shift.
• May require lifting if up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to traverse all parts of the campus quickly

Work Environment:

• Fast paced with considerable movement throughout the day.
• Interaction with all types of people.
• Multi-unit locations spread out throughout the campus.
