As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll work in partnership with business leaders to improve our efforts in attracting and securing outstanding talent who we need to solve our mission.
You’ll do this by ensuring our hiring processes and candidate experience is fair, positive and meaningful for all. Google Deep Mind is an extremely fast moving and dynamic organization that is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and this role gives you the opportunity to be a talent advisor to the teams who are leading this charge!
- Act as a full‑life‑cycle recruiter driving end‑to‑end talent acquisition across a number of critical Google Deep Mind teams in North America.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, operating as a trusted talent advisor.
- Leverage data to influence hiring strategies and decisions, including identifying opportunities for improvement such as redefining interview questions, reducing process inefficiencies, iterating assigned rubrics and attributes, and developing solutions that enable internal stakeholders to seamlessly engage with hiring and our processes.
- Provide an exceptional experience to all candidates, role‑modeling Google Deep Mind’s values both internally and externally.
- Ensure hiring processes are fair and inclusive, utilising talent insights and sourcing strategies to ensure pipelines are representative.
- Develop and maintain talent acquisition strategies tailored to the North American market.
- Utilise AI tools to streamline recruitment workflows and improve candidate experience.
- Experience independently recruiting a range of technical and non‑technical roles within an in‑house recruitment team.
- Managing a high volume of openings with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to successfully recognise and advocate for talent from non‑traditional backgrounds.
- Experience sourcing, engaging with, and successfully closing candidates.
- Experience designing, developing and running creative hiring strategies to fill niche and complex openings.
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate across different time zones, contributing to an inclusive and supportive team culture.
- Demonstrated success operating in unstructured and ambiguous environments.
- Experience developing new recruitment processes and workflows.
- Experience working in global organisations, ideally within technology.
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is between $107,000 – $153,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
