As a Technical Specialist at Branch, you will work with our Account Management team to act as a trusted advisor; guiding Marketing, Product, Engineering, Business Operations, and Data teams through the Branch use‑case adoption. You will develop a deep understanding of our platform, and provide hands‑on technical assistance to ensure successful product adoption and long‑term customer success.
This position requires a strong technical background, excellent client management skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution. - Act as a technical consultant and trusted advisor; driving adoption, value realization, and customer success.
- Work cross‑functionally with Account Management, Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to drive positive customer outcomes.
- Conduct technical discovery, demos, and presentations, and educate customers on best practices.
- Assist customers with technical solution planning, execution, and troubleshooting of our SDK, APIs, and products.
- Proactively analyze customer needs and develop creative solutions to improve product adoption.
- Maintain a strong customer‑first mindset, ensuring excellent communication and expectation management.
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
- 4+ years of experience in a technical customer‑facing role (e.g., Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Consultant).
- Experience with technical solution planning, as well as troubleshooting of SDKs & APIs.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value propositions for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong ability to multi‑task and drive outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced presentation skills with the ability to develop compelling slide decks and deliver confident, value‑driven messages to customers.
- A self‑starter mindset.
- Mobile development experience with iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and/or Android (Java/Kotlin) and third‑party SDKs.
- Web development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and data analytics tools (SQL, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Experience working with debugging and troubleshooting tools like Charles Proxy, Chrome Developer Tools, Command Line Interface.
We are looking to hire 100% remote in California for this role. We are also open to hiring remote in select other locations including CO, WA, OR, BC, as well as hybrid in Mountain View, CA. This role requires working PT / west coast hours.
In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in California is $116,000 – $170,000. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in California only. Compensation for candidates outside of California will be based on the candidate’s specific work location. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above.
Compensation for this role is base compensation + commission. Compensation shown is on target earning.
