As a technical lead and manager of the Dev Ops team, you will be responsible for leading the team in building and scaling the Moveworks AI cloud infrastructure and developer platform. As Moveworks grows fast, the infrastructure team is tasked with designing and operating reliable and resilient foundational services as well as frameworks that allow our product to scale seamlessly and our engineering teams to build customer-facing features very rapidly.

To be successful, you'll partner with machine learning, search, product, data, and full-stack teams to identify, define, and build elegant solutions. • Closely work with platform, machine learning, search, data, and frontend teams, understand their Dev Ops and infrastructure needs, influence the Dev Ops roadmap, and lead as well as execute on various projects.
• Design, build, and manage the Moveworks cloud infrastructure across many regions/clouds ensuring security, scalability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure as code and full automation to provision and manage the Moveworks application stack across different environments.
• Work with Moveworks’ security team on enhancing the security posture of the infrastructure.
• Hire and mentor engineers in the team and foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Hands‑on technical leader with a strong sense of ownership—proactively leading complex platform and infrastructure initiatives from conception through delivery and measurement.
• 3+ years of experience growing and managing a team with 5+ engineers including senior engineers.
• 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops engineering.
• Strong technical expertise in designing and building AWS (or other) cloud infrastructure, managing AWS security groups, IAM roles, ELB, Cloud Formation, and other cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of VPN, AWS VPC, DNS, etc., and experience troubleshooting network issues.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, Istio, etc.
• Working knowledge of disaster recovery processes and security areas such as data backup and recovery, replication, AWS KMS, certificate management, encryption, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security tools.
• Comfortable with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
• An appetite for working at a startup pace on challenging problems with a high degree of ownership.

$245,000 - $330,000

• Our compensation package includes a market‑competitive salary, equity for all full‑time roles, and, where applicable, commissions or bonus plans.
• Ultimately, final offers may vary based on geography, role scope and complexity, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
