SDLC Solutions Architect

Location: 100% Remote (Client located in Mountain View, CA area)

Prefer candidates local to the Mountain View, CA area (Not required)

Must be able to work on W-2 basis

Lead and drive the design & development of technology solutions for Intuit Platform Acceleration. The role should provide thought leadership and strategic direction, to influence the overall roadmap with initiatives that are value generating. Working with business stakeholders and internal development teams, the role will ensure the alignment of solution designs conforming to regulatory demands, architectural standards, business requirements, budgets, and tech strategy.

• Responsible for developing domain driven designs that are following agile architecture principles & standards (emergent design, intentional design) and provide holistic and connected solution design that meets the business strategy and requirements.
• Ensure solution and technology architecture standards, governance and principles are implemented effectively within the organization.
• Works closely with all stakeholders to ensure the solutions defined & developed align with the agreed technology roadmaps, business capability model, organizational strategy and are implemented as designed.
• Build strong relationships with our partners and extended team members, and embrace collaborative approaches to developing strategies, solutions, business cases, white papers etc.
• Provide consultation to the BUs product and project delivery teams, identifying and owning ways to apply new or existing technologies to support business initiatives, innovation, facilitating the reuse of ideas, components, services, and proven patterns within the value stream.
• Develop the design and implementation of solution architecture enabling speed to market.

• Experience of Enterprise architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, microservices, and other integration methodologies, ideally in Fin Tech or Commerce.
• Experience in developing API-based and Service Oriented architecture, externalizations of APIs and delivery of headless products.
• Experience with the architecture of mission critical, high transaction volume environments.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle using agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in C level stakeholder management. The position requires working closely with other architects, business teams, and product teams.
• Proven experience in recognizing the corporate strategy and realizing all business processes that define how a company achieves its strategic goals.
• Experience in seeking the alignment of business and engineering, driving common approaches, delivering sustainable, reusable enterprise architecture.
