Embedded Engineer - Linux

Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position requires deep technical expertise in C/C++, Linux kernel and drivers, embedded Linux distributions, and networking hardware. Candidates should have experience with Ethernet, IP networking, and network switching ASICs, and be able to support low-level debugging with basic electrical engineering knowledge.

• Demonstrate strong understanding of C and C++ programming.
• Apply familiarity with the Linux kernel and device drivers.
• Work with embedded Linux distributions (e.g., Yocto or Buildroot).
• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot Ethernet, IP, and higher-level networking concepts.
• Work with hardware-based Ethernet packet processors, VLANs, filtering engines, TCAMs, and related features.
• Leverage knowledge of network switching ASICs (Broadcom, Marvell, or Microchip) and associated features.
• Provide basic electrical engineering support for low-level debugging.
